도마뱀 사육 환경에 배치하기 위해 제작한 T자 형태의 은신처 겸 놀이 조형물입니다. 사육 대상이 몸을 숨기거나 이동하며 활용할 수 있도록, 구조적 단순성과 공간 활용성을 함께 고려해 제작된 사례입니다.
제품은 SLS 방식으로 출력되었으며, 재질은 PA12, 기본 색상은 흰색입니다. 이후 총 4가지 색상으로 후도장을 진행하였고, 팬톤 컬러 기준을 참고하여 색측계를 통해 ΔE=ab 3.0 이하 수준의 조색 값으로 맞춘 색상을 적용했습니다. 이를 통해 전시용 조형물에 가까운 완성도와 사육 환경에 어울리는 시각적 인상을 함께 확보했습니다.

Hideout Play Structure for Lizard Enclosures [Domestic University Research Institute]

This is a T-shaped hideout and play structure produced for use in a lizard enclosure. It was designed with both structural simplicity and spatial usability in mind, so that the animal could use it for hiding, climbing, and moving within the habitat.
The product was fabricated using the SLS printing method, with PA12 as the material and white as the base color. It was later finished in four different painted colors, with the final tones adjusted using a colorimeter based on Pantone references and matched to within ΔE=ab 3.0 or below. This helped achieve both a refined sculptural finish and a visual impression suited to the enclosure environment.
SLS was selected in this case because the process leaves a subtly rough surface texture characteristic of SLS-produced parts, which is particularly effective for expressing the feel of natural materials, especially stone-like surfaces. For that reason, this case can be understood not only as a shape-production example, but also as one that considered the textural atmosphere appropriate to a reptile habitat.

トカゲの飼育環境に配置するために制作した、T字型のシェルター兼遊具造形物です。飼育対象が身を隠したり、移動したりしながら活用できるよう、構造の単純さと空間活用性の両方を考慮して制作された事例です。
