야외 레저 활동이나 여행 환경에서 활용할 수 있도록 기획된 3 in 1 변환 테이블의 개선형 시제품입니다. 기존 제작품이 플라스틱 중심의 구조였다면, 본 Mk.2 버전은 금속과 목재를 적극적으로 적용하여 실제 제품에 가까운 내구성과 완성도를 확보할 수 있도록 설계 및 가공되었습니다.
본 제품은 의자, 테이블, 운반용 가방의 3가지 형태로 전환될 수 있도록 제작되었으며, 각 모드의 구조 요소가 상호 유기적으로 연동되도록 구성되었습니다. 이를 통해 하나의 구조 안에서 이동성과 활용성을 함께 확보하고자 했습니다.
완전히 펼쳤을 때의 길이는 약 1m로, 실제 테이블로서도 일정 수준 이상의 활용성을 기대할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 의자 모드에서는 사용 목적에 따라 높이와 형상을 조절할 수 있으며, 테이블 모드에서는 협탁과 메인 테이블 용도에 대응할 수 있도록 높이 조절 기능을 부여했습니다. 또한 운반 모드에서는 숨겨진 바퀴를 꺼내어 이동 편의성을 높일 수 있도록 구성했습니다.
본 시제품은 기존 아이디어를 보다 실제 제품에 가까운 구조와 재질로 발전시켜, 야외 환경에서 요구되는 내구성, 가변성, 휴대성을 함께 검토한 개선 사례로 볼 수 있습니다.

Prototype Leisure 3-in-1 Transformable Table Mk.2
[Domestic University Engineering Capstone]
This is an improved prototype version of a 3-in-1 transformable table intended for outdoor leisure activities and travel environments. Whereas the earlier version was primarily based on a plastic structure, this Mk.2 version was designed and fabricated with active use of metal and wood in order to achieve durability and build quality closer to those of an actual product.
The product was developed to transform into three different forms: a chair, a table, and a carrying case. The structural elements of each mode were designed to operate in an organically linked manner, allowing portability and functional versatility to be integrated within a single system.
When fully unfolded, the table reaches a length of approximately 1 meter, making it large enough to offer a meaningful level of real-world usability as a table. In chair mode, the height and form can be adjusted according to the intended use. In table mode, the height can be modified to serve either as a side table or a main table. In transport mode, concealed wheels can be deployed to improve mobility and ease of carrying.
This prototype can therefore be understood as an upgraded case in which the original concept was advanced toward a more product-like structure and material composition, with durability, transformability, and portability considered together for outdoor use.

本製品は、椅子、テーブル、運搬用バッグの3つの形態に変換できるよう制作されており、各モードの構造要素が相互に有機的に連動するよう構成されています。これにより、ひとつの構造の中で携帯性と活用性の両立を目指しました。
